Settling-in process
At Blooming Years, we take great care to ensure that your child adapts smoothly to our nursery. We therefore organise a settling-in process ahead of your child’s actual start, which takes place as a series of play and stay sessions.
During these sessions, your child will be gently introduced to her/her new friends, carers and teachers. This is a unique opportunity for us to get to know your child and your family.
Parents also receive an induction to our nursery procedures and have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have.
Government funding
All children at the setting are entitled to the Nursery Education Grant from the term following their 3rd birthday. Some children’s eligibility starts from the term following the second birthday.
Each eligible child is entitled to 15 or 30 hours free hours of nursery education per week over 38 weeks per year.
This grant is funded by the government and will decrease the nursery fees paid by the parents.
Bursaries
Children accessing only the government free funding may be eligible for financial help. Bursaries are limited in availability.
You can apply for a bursary at the time of registration.
