“My daughter attended Blooming Years for 3 years and I will be forever thankful for the amazing teachers for fostering a nurturing environment. This has provided her with brilliant foundations, enabling her confidence, curiosity and resilience to flourish. Thank you for loving her so much!”

What London families say
The families already with us can tell you more than we ever could.
“My son went from 1-4 yrs old. He loved it. The staff were patient and kind, offered such a variety of activities, helped him grow in confidence and independence and supported me when I had questions on a few things. He joined reception this year well prepared and ready for his next chapter. Thank you team.”
“Excellent nursery! We are so happy about it. I was so scared about the idea of not finding a good place for my little one. Then I have tried Blooming Years and my baby loves it. The teachers are qualified and they take care of every emotional aspect of the babies. I have visited a lot of nurseries but I never had the same warm feeling.”

Common questions
Our Alexandra Road nursery is a five to ten minute drive from Wimbledon Village down Wimbledon Hill Road. Our Broadway nursery at Broadway Court is a couple of minutes further, right beside Wimbledon station. Both nurseries are very accessible from the Village, and families who prefer the residential feel of Alexandra Road or the station convenience of Broadway can visit both to see which suits them.
Alexandra Road is the closer of the two from the Village side of Wimbledon, and it has been here for twelve years with an Ofsted Good rating. Our Broadway nursery at Broadway Court opens this summer and is a short drive further, right beside Wimbledon station. If you commute through Wimbledon in the morning, Broadway may actually suit you better. Both follow the same curriculum and approach, so the decision usually comes down to location and availability.
Yes, both nurseries accept the 15-hour universal entitlement and the 30-hour extended offer for eligible families. The 15 hours is available to all children from the term after their third birthday, while the 30 hours applies to working families who meet the government income criteria. We will talk you through how funding applies to your sessions when you visit.
We welcome children from 3 months old through to 5 years at both nurseries. Alexandra Road is popular and places fill up, so we would encourage early enquiries. Our Broadway nursery opens this summer and is now taking registrations for September 2026 with places available. Get in touch and we will give you an honest picture of what is available at both sites.
When you visit, you will get a proper look around, meet some of the team and have time to ask questions without any pressure. You are welcome to visit both nurseries if you want to compare them directly. Once a place is confirmed, settling in is gradual, starting with you alongside your child and building up at a pace that suits them rather than a fixed timetable.
The best first step for families in Wimbledon Village is to book a tour - it gives you a chance to see the nursery, meet the team and ask any questions before committing to anything. Once you have visited and you are happy to go ahead, our online application form takes just a few minutes to complete. We will be in touch shortly after to confirm availability and next steps.
