From Merton, both Blooming Years nurseries are around a ten minute drive via the A238 towards Wimbledon. Broadway Court is the first you reach, right beside Wimbledon station. Alexandra Road is a couple of minutes further. South Wimbledon station on the Northern line is nearby, with bus connections to Wimbledon Broadway for families who travel without a car.
Both nurseries are a similar journey from Merton. Our Broadway nursery at Broadway Court opens this summer and sits right beside Wimbledon station, which works well if you commute via Wimbledon afterwards. Places are available for September 2026. Alexandra Road has been here for twelve years and is rated Good by Ofsted, but is popular and fills up quickly. If you are looking for a September start, we would suggest enquiring about Broadway first.
Yes, both nurseries accept the 15-hour universal entitlement and the 30-hour extended offer for eligible families. The 15 hours is available from the term after your child's third birthday, and the 30 hours applies to working families who meet the government's income criteria. We will walk through how funding works for your sessions when you visit.
We welcome children from 3 months through to 5 years. At Broadway, opening this summer, places are available now for September 2026. At Alexandra Road, places fill up in advance, so early enquiries matter. We will be honest about availability at both sites.
