“My daughter attended Blooming Years for 3 years and I will be forever thankful for the amazing teachers for fostering a nurturing environment. This has provided her with brilliant foundations, enabling her confidence, curiosity and resilience to flourish. Thank you for loving her so much!”
Raynes Park
Nurseries in Raynes Park
Raynes Park has a particular kind of family life. Quiet residential streets, a fast commute into Waterloo, and parents who tend to think carefully about early years choices. Blooming Years has two nurseries in Wimbledon, both a short drive from SW20. Our Broadway nursery opens this summer at Broadway Court beside Wimbledon station, and is now taking registrations for September 2026 with places available. Our Alexandra Road nursery has been running for twelve years and is rated Good by Ofsted. The journey from Raynes Park to either nursery takes around ten to fifteen minutes, and fits naturally before the train.

What London families say
The families already with us can tell you more than we ever could.
“My son went from 1-4 yrs old. He loved it. The staff were patient and kind, offered such a variety of activities, helped him grow in confidence and independence and supported me when I had questions on a few things. He joined reception this year well prepared and ready for his next chapter. Thank you team.”
“Excellent nursery! We are so happy about it. I was so scared about the idea of not finding a good place for my little one. Then I have tried Blooming Years and my baby loves it. The teachers are qualified and they take care of every emotional aspect of the babies. I have visited a lot of nurseries but I never had the same warm feeling.”

Things parents ask us
Common questions
From Raynes Park, both Blooming Years nurseries are around a ten to fifteen minute drive along the A238 towards Wimbledon. Broadway Court sits right beside Wimbledon station and is first on that route. Alexandra Road is a few minutes further. Raynes Park station connects to Waterloo in about twenty minutes on South Western Railway, and Wimbledon station, close to both nurseries, serves the District line and tram. Many Raynes Park families find the drop-off slots naturally into the start of their commute.
Both nurseries are a similar drive from Raynes Park, but our Broadway nursery at Broadway Court is marginally closer and sits right beside Wimbledon station, which works well if you commute via Wimbledon afterwards. It opens this summer and is taking registrations now for September 2026. Alexandra Road has twelve years of history in Wimbledon and is rated Good by Ofsted, but is popular and places fill up. If you want a September 2026 start, Broadway is the one to enquire about first.
Yes, both nurseries accept the 15-hour universal entitlement and the 30-hour extended offer. The 15 hours is available from the term after your child's third birthday, and the 30 hours applies to working families who meet the government's income criteria. We are happy to walk you through how funding applies to your sessions when you visit.
We welcome children from 3 months old through to 5 years. At Broadway, opening this summer, places are available for September 2026 starts and we would encourage families to [register interest](/book) now. At Alexandra Road, places fill up well in advance and early enquiries make a genuine difference. We will be honest about availability at both sites.
A visit is a proper look around - you will meet the team, see the rooms on a normal day and have time to ask whatever is on your mind. You are welcome to visit both nurseries if you want to compare them, and we can arrange that on the same trip. Settling in, if you go ahead, is gradual and led by your child rather than a fixed timetable.
