A nursery right on Wimbledon Broadway
If you work in the City or commute into Waterloo, you will know how much the morning routine matters. Blooming Years is based at Broadway Court, steps from the station, which means drop-off fits around your day rather than fighting against it. Come in for a look around and see whether it feels right for your family.
Why families choose us
Our approach
What parents tend to notice first, when they visit, is that the rooms feel purposeful without feeling rigid. We do not sit children down and tell them what to think. Every space, every activity and every interaction is designed to help children work things out for themselves, build their own confidence and carry that self-belief forward. That philosophy shapes everything here, from how staff respond in a difficult moment to how resources are laid out and rotated to keep curiosity alive.

In practice
The practical side matters just as much, and we take it seriously. Every child starts gradually, with sessions that build up at their own pace and parents present at the beginning. We talk to you every day during settling, and we hold termly one-to-ones so nothing important gets left unsaid. We accept both 15 and 30 hours funded childcare, and we are Ofsted registered and look forward to welcoming our first inspection, which we are confident will match or beat the Good ratings across our other nurseries.

For families in Wimbledon Broadway
Families from Wimbledon Broadway tend to be time-pressed in a particular way. The mornings here move fast, especially around the station and along the Broadway itself. Knowing that your child's nursery is genuinely on your route, rather than a detour, takes one real pressure off. We see a lot of parents who are balancing demanding jobs with wanting to feel properly connected to what is happening with their child each day, and that balance is something we think about from our side too.

Things parents ask us
Common questions
We are right on Wimbledon Broadway at Broadway Court, so if you are coming from the Wimbledon Broadway area you are already almost at our door. Wimbledon station is just moments away, serving the District line, the tram network and mainline rail, which makes the morning drop-off straightforward for parents heading into the city or further afield. Whether you are walking, cycling or jumping off a train, the location works well for busy family routines.
Yes, we accept both the 15-hour universal entitlement and the 30-hour extended offer for eligible families. The 15 hours is available to all three and four year olds, while the 30 hours is for working families who meet the income criteria set by the government. We are happy to talk through what you qualify for and how funding can be applied to your child's place, so it is worth having that conversation early when you enquire.
We welcome children from 3 months through to 5 years, so families can join us from a very early stage and stay right through to school. Places, particularly for babies, can fill up several months in advance, so we would always encourage you to get in touch as soon as you have a start date in mind rather than waiting. We allocate places in order of enquiry and keep a waiting list, and we will always be honest with you about availability and likely timescales.
It simply means we are newly registered and have not yet received our first scheduled visit from Ofsted, which is entirely normal for a setting in its early months. We are Ofsted registered and look forward to welcoming our first inspection, which we are confident will match or beat the Good ratings across our other nurseries. In the meantime, we are happy to share how we work, the people behind the nursery and what our practice looks like day to day, so you can make an informed decision rather than waiting on a report.
When you visit, you will have a proper look around, meet the team who would be caring for your child and have time to ask anything that is on your mind. We do not rush visits and we want you to leave feeling clear about whether we are the right fit for your family. If you decide to go ahead, we use a gradual settling-in process that is led by your child's pace, starting with shorter sessions alongside you before building up to full days, so your child has the time they need to feel at home.
